Our infrastructure was promptly updated to mitigate the Microarchitectural Data Sampling (MDS) vulnerability, also referred to as ZombieLoad (see Intel’s statement here and more details here). So that’s one less thing to worry about!
You can now manage billing for your addresses (just click on the address name or the gear icon, and you’ll see the billing button). If you’d like to upgrade your plan to Lifetime you can do so with no financial penalty, or you can extend your annual plan by a year at any time.
Just added: Keybase Proof Integration! As of today, you can establish a crypotgraphic proof linking your omg.lol address with your Keybase profile. If you’re not already on Keybase, you should be!
New feature: Web traffic forwarding lets you direct your web page over to any other URL. If you already have a website and just want to forward you.omg.lol there, just pop your URL into the field on your address page, click the button, and you’re good to go!
New feature: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is now live! You can enable it by clicking on the brand new Settings button on your account screen. Enabling 2FA will require you to enter an authenticator code before your sign-in emails are sent, further securing your account. Enjoy!
Two awesome updates today! First, a new look and feel! We’ve hatched out of our monochromatic launch egg and added a bit more style to things around here. The original design was OK, but this new one is much better (at least we think so). Hope you enjoy it.
Second, and much more awesomely, our new Web Page feature is live! It’s completely functional, but is very much an early (and basic) release. You can drop in some HTML and your page will render—but that’s not where we’re going to leave it. Feel free to play around with it, but know that awesome features are on the way (like versioning, Markdown support, and design tools). Until then, here’s an example of what you can do with your own page.
All services are running normally. Kinda boring, but boring is good in this case.
Can I forward my @omg.lol email to any number of addresses? Yes, you can! Enter as many as you'd like, and separate them with a comma.
Can I send email from my @omg.lol address? We’re working on a way to support sending email. The service is intended to provide email forwarding so you can publish or give out your @omg.lol email address and receive messages sent to it, and it works wonderfully! Sending messages presents challenges, though, especially related to spam. Keep an eye on the Updates section above for more information about sending messages once we’ve found a solution.
What payment methods do you accept? We take just about any kind of plastic, securely processed through Stripe. We also accept Bitcoin, via on-chain transactions or the Lightning Network, processed through OpenNode.
